Dr. Rajesh Takyar is a prolific author, independent scholar, and dedicated researcher of India’s spiritual traditions. He has a deep interest in Hindu philosophy, the Vedas, Puranas, Samhitas, and the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. His writing seeks to present ancient scriptural wisdom in a simple, authentic, and accessible form for the modern reader.
 

A major focus of his current research and writing is Lord Krishna: His divine nature, teachings, incarnations, leelas, and the profound spiritual relationship between Radha and Krishna. By bringing together insights from multiple classical sources, Dr. Takyar aims to present the philosophical and spiritual dimensions of India’s knowledge traditions in a comprehensive and meaningful way.

He has authored over 40 books in Hindi and English, published through Penguin Random House India. He also set a world record with an 18-volume, 1.15-million-word series on the 18 chapters of the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita.

In recognition of his literary and spiritual contributions, he has received several honours, including the National Bharat Ratna Award, Bharat Gaurav Ratna Shri Award, and National Surya Award.
